CTC Technical Leader Award
From £355.00

What to expect
The Technical Mountain Bike Leader Award assumes prior knowledge and understanding gained from the National Mountain Bike Leader Award and also requires a log book of group-led and individual rides.

It is based on technical terrain, covering everything a technical leader needs to know for leading groups on more remote and technical trails.  All the skills previously learnt are built upon and new skills and procedures are put into practice.

This course is suitable for adults (18+) with at least some experience of riding technical terrain.  It builds upon all the group management and safety techniques learnt previously and combines the new skills and knowledge needed to lead groups over technical terrain.  Run over 2.5 days, two thirds of the course is practical on the bike training.
